Introducing the Inaugural National Assembly for Family Engagement in Education
We are thrilled to share that we’re collaborating with NAFSCE on the first-ever National Assembly for Family Engagement in Education! Coaction Collective loves supporting meetings, gatherings and conferences of all sizes, but there are several reasons that we’re particularly excited to support NAFSCE in hosting this important event.
Partnering with Schools and the Community is our passion. We are drawn towards projects that enable us to share our expertise, and as caretakers and former educators, all of us believe in the power of family school-community partnerships. The National Assembly will convene educators, school leaders, families, policymakers and funders, all who are dedicated to strengthening family engagement to improve student learning and to advance equity. The conference strands explore key issues in the field including statewide family engagement practices, educator preparation, data and evaluation, fatherhood & male engagement, and many more!
We’re invested in strengthening Family-School-Community partnerships in Colorado (and beyond). We’re thrilled that the inaugural National Assembly is taking place in Denver, Colorado; a city invested in family engagement in education. For years, our friends at the Colorado Department of Education have been committed to implementing best practices and the latest research in family engagement. This year, Colorado will begin launching not one but two Statewide Family Engagement Centers. We are honored and excited to work in partnership with an amazing team in Colorado to push this work forward.
The National Assembly is more than a conference.
Conferences are amazing opportunities to learn new strategies and discover tools and resources – but let’s not forget about the importance of celebrating the progress we’ve made and forming new friendships. If you’ve been to any of NAFSCE’s prior conferences, you know how important a good party is to the NAFSCE team. This year, we are so excited for the Inaugural Gala to celebrate NAFSCE’s 10 years, and amazing contributors to the field. Coaction Collective also loves a good Karaoke! We’re not making any promises, but Mike has been known to bring down the house with his karaoke performances.
We hope you’ll join us at the Inaugural National Assembly for Family Engagement in Education! You can participate online on October 21 and 22, and in Denver, October 23-25 for more than 75+ sessions and workshops – and a special Gala on 10/23. Register by 2/28 to save with the early bird discount!
