Coaction Collective supports family engagement initiatives in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. In this session participants will learn about the concrete school level strategies employed in Kansas City, MO schools, and the unique approach to listening and planning applied in Kansas City, KS.

Participants will discuss ways that they can incorporate family and staff listening into their own practices and plans and will reflect on the lessons learned in Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS.

This session is geared towards school, district and state level leaders interested in improving their support for family-school partnerships.
